Research Interests


 

Functional assessment, treatment and staff/parent training.  In addition, evaluation of the efficacy of training methods such as matching-to-sample and precision teaching (fluency)

Child behavior problems and typical childhood pediatric disorders

Autism spectrum training curriculum, methods, and procedures with a special emphasis on language development

Development of social behavior and the role of language.  Language development and the remediation of language deficits.  Relational Frame theory and the role of relational operants in the development of complex language ability such as perspective taking, pragmatics, and meaning.
